Cookie Settings

The cookies this site uses, and how you can control them.

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Arab Media & Society uses them sparingly — to keep you signed in and to understand which articles are being read — and not for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They keep authors and reviewers signed in to the submission portal for the duration of a session, and they preserve accessibility preferences such as text size and contrast between pages. No essential cookie is used to profile you.

Analytics Cookies

We record article page views in order to publish the Most Read ranking and to report readership to authors. This measurement is aggregate: it tells us how many times an article was read, not who read it.

Managing Cookies

You can delete existing cookies and block new ones through your browser settings; every major browser offers this under its privacy or security preferences. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the submission portal, but the published journal remains fully readable without them.
